I find that I don’t have much to say on this topic, and that’s a good thing. Everything in this paragraph is distilled from my lifetime as a husband and father and career professional. (My experiences as a husband were, I must say, more a cautionary tale than a guidebook for practice.) Here’s all I know about walking your talk: Keep your mouth shut whenever possible. Talk less and listen more. Mean what you say, and do what you say you’re going to do. Keep your word. That’s it.
